The Medical Initiative for Support in Columbus (MISC) welcomes passionate volunteers who want to make healthcare more accessible, inclusive, and community-centered. Our work depends on individuals who bring diverse skills, cultural awareness, and a shared commitment to health equity in Columbus.

We especially encourage volunteers who speak another language and understand medical terminology or communication in that language. You don’t need to speak Arabic, Urdu, or Farsi specifically, we’re open to all languages and dialects. Your ability to help translate, interpret, or explain health information can make a meaningful difference for patients navigating care in their own language.

We’re also seeking volunteers who can help manage our website, organize events, and assist with outreach through social media and community promotion. Whether your strengths lie in technology, planning, or communication, your time and creativity can help us grow our impact.
